In 2007, Immensity introduced HOIST™ — Human Resource Online Integrated Staffing Technology, an innovative Web-based solution that greatly reduces the amount of time needed to onboard new candidates joining a company. The HOIST™ system offers three key electronic features: electronic presentation, online signatures and secure document delivery (in e-sign mode). These key features allow candidates to access and complete job applications in a paperless flow, but with a binding signature through a software protocol called e-signature. This proven digital software technology streamlines the application process, letting applicants easily insert their electronic signature wherever it’s required in a document, eliminating the need for other, more expensive methods of verification.

The Founder
Douglas E Miller a 15 year veteran of the software industry made the switch to staffing after bringing nearly 15 year of a diverse technology consulting and software development with extensive experience with numerous web based system implementations. His latest venture, HOIST is the evolution of his growing passion for technology and a personal goal of being an “agent of change”.
Douglas started his career as a technologist after serving 8 years in the armed forces as an Electronic technician and then later being recruiting by Motorola into their software development department. After 4 years with Motorola, Douglas stated a career as Software consultant with a specialty with internet based software. This move give Douglas an extensive outlet to grow his profession skills During the course of his career Douglas as build several web based systems for several fortune 500 companies like CNA and Northern Trust bank to name a few. After many years in the software business and forming Immensity, several traits has served as great assets when it comes to staffing software development, but one has stood out the most, solving problems.
